Section 6.2 Elliptic Constructions

Many of the standard constructions from Euclidean geometry carry over to the Klein disk, just as they did in the Poincaré disk, as discussed in Section 5.2. For example, equilateral triangles can easily be constructed, as can (some) other regular polygons. Try it! You can use the applet in Section 6.1. As before, the angles change as the size of these figures varies!

The Klein disk also allows for some unexpected constructions. For instance, the construction of elliptic circles that overlap the edge of the disk is shown in Figure 6.2.1.
